Mt. Airy (especially the arboretum)
Miami Whitewater (especially the 7 mile bike trail)
Hometown Pizza (actually located in Kentucky, but we always went there whenever we visted the Temple)
Riverview 360 Revolving Restaurant (also in Kentucky, but just across the river)
Tons of little ice cream drive-ins: Buster's Creamy Whip, Putz' Creamy Whip, Keller's Cone Zone…

I love your thoughts. Thanks for sharing. Your situation and what you said reminds me of this blog I'm addicted to called 71toes. It's an amazing family that has discovered their littlest child has a syndrome that will eventually make her blind. It shows how much humility it has taught the older siblings and what good things are actually coming from this trial. I'm still keeping you all in my prayers. Carrie–yeah about that…we're probably not as careful as we should be, but stuff like the doll bed and glass jars are obviously easy to check….not many places to hide. BUT for stuff like fabric…well we got that stuff in Hyde Park and sorta figured it wasn't a BB neighborhood….not that it couldn't still be, but I guess we just didn't worry about it. But if you do buy clothing/fabric it's always a good idea to throw everything in the dryer right when you get home for a while. That kills bb's. Also, you can always keep a spray bottle of 90 proof rubbing alcohol and spray it on things as a precaution–that kills the BB's and the eggs. I'm actually glad you made me think about that…I think I'll be extra careful in the future.ReplyCancel
