This is puppy. Sometimes known as Tortilla, sometimes Ruff Ruff. And as of this morning, Ruffy Duffy. 3 Year old got this puppy when on an outing one day with her father. They were at a thrift store and when she latched onto it, so dad caved and bought it for her. It was only...

So sweet! You are so good at recognizing and documenting precious moments. I love your blog.
So sweet. That would make my heart ache to realized she was experiencing grief.
beyond adorable! super sweet parenting
i'd like to blame this on hormones, but i wept reading this. i got ruffy when i was five and he has been my constant companion. he came to byu with me and he lives on shelf in my closet now. when i was 12, my real live dog chewed him up a little. i bawled my face off. 12! good memories.
I also got teary-eyed when I read this! You are a good mom. I couldn't help but think of you/that bandage/puppy as a metaphor for God's love. Simply beautiful.
I've had my bear/own version of "puppy" since I was four. When I got married, I placed him on a shelf in our spare room yet somehow, the dog got a hold of him. My husband, not knowing the importance of said bear, thought the dog was so "cute" chewing on the bear….yes. We had to have a serious talk. Ha. Loved this post.
So love that she named him "Tortilla" or "Ruff Ruff"…the apple doesn't fall far from the tree…what an imagination! (Just like her Mother's!)
Glad you made a bandage for Ruff Ruff!
Love, hugs & kisses,
