One Week

A week ago today this sweet little babe came into the world.  We love her!  She came a bit early and was cutting it close to a Christmas birthday, but we’re so happy she’s here.  She has the trademark dimple in her chin just like her sisters, but came with a full head of hair (!), unlike her sisters.  The only thing more miraculous than her birth was the hospital letting us leave early so we could be home late Christmas eve–if you know anything about the military and their protocols, you know that this was quite a feat.  It was a double Christmas morning for our girls to wake up to Santa Clause and their new baby sister!  They were definitely more excited about their new baby sister.

Labor and delivery went well–I actually got to say, “My water broke!” but I’ll have to write about that later.  While we’re exhausted we’re really enjoying this new little member of our family.  Here are some of my favorite pictures from this past week:
