Hey guys! Just wanted to share a guest post I wrote at WhatToExpect.com about coping with bad news at an ultrasound appointment. I was honored and excited to be asked to write a piece for them and hope it’s helpful for someone out there. If you know anyway going through a difficult pregnancy, someone who has received some bad news, this might be a good article to pass along. If nothing else, just to know they’re not alone. Read it here.
So well written. Nice work!
you are awesome and inspiring. Love ya!
I just came across this inspiring article, and it could not have come at a better time. We just had our 20 week ultrasound where we received news of our baby's cleft lip and possible palate. Your words truly mirror everything we are feeling. Thank you for writing this and providing a positive and uplifting message.
I loved this post! Our family (fortunately) hasn't dealt with any situation like this as of yet but we have had a pregnancy loss and the feelings are similar: the grief, the knowing we're not alone, and trusting ourselves. I really loved reading your post – thank you so much for sharing your honesty!
