We got our much anticipated vintage baby walker from ebay today. The little cute-ums can almost touch her feet and so far she seems to love it. Hopefully in the coming months this little contraption will help her be more mobile and learn how to use those cute little leggies of hers. Both of those things would be huge accomplishments. I feel extremely blessed and subsequently grateful to have found this vintage walker and to have won the bidding. It’s much lighter and less clunky than modern walkers, the seat adjusts to a really low position and I happen to think it’s rather cute. Score. So we’ve still got a super busy day but I was just too excited not to post this really quick.
what a good find and not only cause its so cute. I am glad it is perfect for her and her condition. Darling girl! I can't believe how big she is getting… (I know it happens, but, man!)
Perfect! I bet she loves being upright and having her feet touch the floor!! Yah!!!
Look at that smile! I'm so happy for you, Miggy, AND of course for that little sweetie pie! Thanks so much taking the time to post this.
This made my day. Thanks for posting. xo
She looks so happy!!! You are doing a great job coming up with ideas to entertain her and help her on her way.
I had that same walker for my daughter in 1974 ,I used to put a bed pillow under her feet so she could touch the floor
What a cool find!! I love that it fits her well, and it looks super chic. 🙂
Have you tried one of those jumpers that hooks to the door frame? She wouldn't be able to fall over and it could help with strength and balance. Mine has some toys attached to the front that make noise and spin that would be close enough for her even with her smaller reach.
please please please be careful with this. honestly i want to tell you to throw it out. my brother died from a baby walker along with over 40 other children. there are so dangerous. especially the older ones. and you may think they teach your child how to stand and walk but it only strengthens lower leg muscles not upper or hip muscles. most studies show that baby walkers actually delay a child from wanting to walk because they can scoot around so easily in the baby walker. facts also show that baby walker injuries happen more often when parents are watching, simply because they cannot respond quick enough. children in baby walkers can move more than 3 feet in one second. in my opinion, they are unsafe and pointless. but it is your decision. be safe. thats all. i do not want anyone to go through the heartache that ive been through.
Are you interested in selling this walker? I've been looking everywhere for one like this!!
Would you be able to tell me what the sticker says on the front of this walker? We have a similar one from when we were kids and I am looking to sell it… but wanted to have more accurate details on the age of it… does this one have the circular seat or the more triangular seat with the leg shapes? THANKS for any info.
