If I had the time (no newborn) and the energy (again, no newborn) I’d like to put together a Halloween dinner party that has pretty much been in the works since I was in elementary school. One of my all time favorite movies is Clue.
If you like muder-mystery dinner parties this would be perfect since that’s what the movie is all about. If you’ve never seen Clue, do yourself a favor and netflix it asap. Although not typically at the top of the list for Halloween flicks, it’s actually perfect. It’s hilarious, but still has the murder-mystery element that will keep you guessing until the end. I think it would be great to have everyone come dressed in character, eat a fancy dinner and then watch a screening of Clue. Of course it would be all the better if you could rent a big, scary old house for the actual party location. Anyway I’m just putting it out there as something I’m going to do one of these days. Feel free to steal my idea.

Now I know why we're friends. This is one of my favorites too! Seen it at least a billion times, but I've never thought of it as a Halloween movie. Genius.

I can't say I loved the movie, but I did love playing the board game- one of my favorites! I love your idea for a party…. but I'm not any good at throwing parties so I hope I can come to yours someday 🙂
