Last week is over. Phew…
It was such a busy week because I was planning a surprise party for the hubs’ 30th Birthday. Since I had only conceived of this plan a week and a half earlier, a lot of planning had to be done in a short amount of time. It may not look like something out of a Martha Stewart magazine (should I be apologizing for that? probably not….), but it was fun and best of all the birthday boy was genuinely surprised.
Hooray!
Where are you taking me?
Surprise!
Hugs from the purple fairy.
Hooray for friends!
Happy Birthday to you…
(can I be a little vain here and say, please remember I’m only 2.5 months post partum?)
Table decor.
Good times had by all.
Thanks to everyone who came! And a special thanks to the friends who help set up, plan, plot and scheme with me. I couldn’t have done it without you.
It's so good to see old friends' faces! Wish we could have celebrated with you!
Dear Miggy,
Actually, I think your party does have an almost "Martha" look…. but better, because it has your signature. Well done! (Actually, I want to see close- ups of all your tables, and that great banner….what does it say?) Looks like lots of late summer fun! Good food, good friends and a surprised husband!
"B" looks so surprised and happy! Beanie is having a good time too! And Lamp, was she there too?
Great job Miggy!
Love,
G.G.
Ha! I love the picture of my orange-shirted son loving the table decor. Can I get some of these pictures?
And you look SO GOOD for being 2.5 months post partum. Most women would be happy to look like that!
I just posted a comment on another post of yours, but I just realized we know the same people!!!! I married a Brown (Tyler Brown) who is brother's with Dustin Brown – as in Dustin and Rebecca Brown who used to live in Cincy but recently moved to Middletown! Small world! I saw them in your pictures and thought I'd comment! 🙂
