I just thought I’d let you know that today I bought a gallon of milk, a pound of colby jack cheese, 1 pint of whipping cream, a container of chili powder, and a 3 pound bag of gala apples all for $8.54. I took a picture of the price of milk so you could see for yourself. Yes I still miss the city and would probably trade my cheap milk for a slice of Juniors and a seven dollar box of Cheerios from Gristedies any day, but the outside world does have it’s upside. Just thought you should know.
Keepin’ it real in Cincy,

Wow! All of that for $8+. It's not nearly that cheap in Minneapolis. I pay $2+ for a quart of milk. 🙁 Cincinnati here I come 😉
I will have you know that the last time I cried was walking back to our apartment with two measly bags of groceries having spent $50. This place is just too darn expensive! Thanks for the reality check. You are so lucky. Grass is always greener, eh?
I only pay $2.05 for milk at Costco in Jersey. OH, the suburbs!
Um, sorry! That was me and not some crazy stalker.

Stop! 8.54!?! I think I got a zucchini for 8.54 yesterday. When I see milk for less than 3 dollars, I get really excited!
WOW. a little jealous.
holy cow. i really am jealous. milk here is almost $5 a gallon.
that is hilarious! I'm out on Long Island now…but i remember buying a box of Cheeze-its from Gristedes for almost 7.00…and they were defective! i was not happy!
now even out here I'm paying top dollar still for items…'cause I only buy organic and such now…buying organic in Manhattan would have bankrupted us! 😉
That was viscous & mean.
(I kid, I kid.)
I paid $4.75 for a gallon yesterday, when I was too lazy to go down to Trader Joe's. Sad.
Ouch. That hurts. I didn't think prices like that even existed anymore. Well, I guess that gives us something to look forward to.
