After all the positive comments from my last t-shirt re-fashion I felt rather invigorated and decided to give it another go. So with a plain white Hanes T I’ve had on hand for a few years I created this little number.
I really like the look of white t-shirts but feel like sometime they just need a little something to add a little pizazz to your overall look. Admittedly this shirt isn’t done to perfection…the corners are a little off and I might take the bodice in a little more, but overall I think it turned out well enough that I don’t mind a little imperfection. Again cutting and sewing the neckline proved a difficult, but nothing a few darts couldn’t fix.
So that’s my shirt.
I actually got the inspiration for the shirt from this magazine cover I remembered a while back featuring Alexis Bledel from Gilmore Girls in a dress by L.A.M.B. {that would be Gwen Stefani’s clothing line}. Sort of a dream team combination in my world.

crazy!! I've just been doing some "spring" cleaning in the fall and decided not to throw things out but re-do them!! I am soooo sick of shade shirts I could die!! Now I know where to look for inspiration… I'm just glad we don't live in the same city any more! Such cute creations:) Have you done any for Pen yet? That's on my list too!
Wow! Another masterpiece. Those darts are the perfect embellishment. I have been meaning to tell you that I am watching all the Gilmore Girls dvd's and am on season 6 right now! I will have to consult your blog when I'm finished so that I can figure out how to visit "Stars Hallow".

Erin–there are so many things I regret throwing out wishing I still had them to revamp….then again, I would just have a ton more crap to haul around… but yes I want to start making some clothes for the Bean too!
Terese–Don't you love it! That's so funny because I've started watching it again from season 2 and just finished season 5 yesterday! Season's 5 and 6 are tough ones to watch…just makes you want to beat Rory with a stick. And you should definitely visit Stars Hollow.
