It’s been a crazy week. I think I actually got sun poisoning from last weekend, and so I wasn’t feeling well at the beginning of the week, plus school starting and trying to get back into a routine and well… here we are. I’ve been wanting to post more on my thoughts about grace (read first two posts here and here), talk about the first day of school, finding a pre-school for Lamp, etc.. but haven’t done much sitting and writing. Of course I’ve also got a lot of spotlights to schedule. But those things will just have to wait…its nice to say no sometimes. Even when the no is just to myself and the blog.
I was looking through some pictures from this past summer and came across these lovelies–the day my girls decided to make a restaurant in our living room. Cute and clever. It’s all in the details–Lamp acting as server, the leap frog computer set up as a cash register, and PSP getting dressed up as a fancy hostess and of course the customers. Oh those two…
I’m happy to be back on a schedule, but really this summer flew by and a tiny bit of me misses these days of making-their-own-fun and doing whatever we want.
Anyway, hopefully I’ll be more on the ball next week… have a great weekend.
I want to be a little girl again and play tea party with my stuffed animals and dolls. It's posts like these that make me wish for a time back machine. I bet they had lots and lots of fun.
