Due to slacking on my part there isn’t a Special Needs Spotlight today. Aww. But cheer up because I have a great one lined up for next Friday! Hooray! In the interim I wanted to link to an article several people have actually sent my way that is definitely along the same vein as the Special Needs Spotlight. Imagine if you had a child born with a terminal condition. A condition that would take his life probably before the age of 3. That’s the reality Emily Rapp eloquently and honestly discusses in her article Notes From A Dragon Mom. It’s one of those articles that will both inspire and haunt you for days. Read it.
Also, if you’re just joining us or if you somehow missed the previous spotlights, now is a good time to catch up! You’ll be amazed by these kiddos and they’re wonderful mama’s (and papa’s).
Thanks to all these amazing families who have participate and to those of you who have emailed me about you or a family you know to be a part of the spotlight series. I love doing these and look forward to them each week. I’m also learning a lot, and I’m sure others are too. So thanks and please, if you know someone interested in participating in our Spotlight series email me at thislittlemiggy at gmail dot com. Have a great weekend!
Thanks for your spotlight series. I really enjoy reading everyone's stories. Keep up the good work! 🙂
I have read every spotlight post and failed to comment on any of them. Now seems like a good moment to say thank you to everyone who has shared their stories. I've enjoyed reading them, learning from them and admiring everyone involved. Thanks for bringing this series!
