My most faithful and devoted blog reader also happens to be one of the coolest cats I know. My Grandma. Or Grams as it’s become in recent years. And today is her 90th birthday.

I’m so lucky to have your wonderful influence in my life. You are an amazing woman and have long been the backbone that keeps this crazy family together. In your late 80’s you still manage to travel the world (even China!), serve faithfully in your church callings, surf the internet like a pro, and even keep up on your pop culture (she’s on team Jacob for the record). However, what I admire most is your calm and steady demeanor, your unfailing work ethic and your witty sense of humor. Sometimes I want to punch myself in the face for being the sass-talking youngster I was who rarely helped you around the house. I’m just thankful that you never held a grudge for my childish stupidity and I’m glad we’ve grown so close over the years. You’ve taught me a lot Grams. In short, you’re the bees knees, the cat’s pajamas and I couldn’t be happier to call you my Grandma.
