No family theme this year, but I think everyone turned out great. My husband wins for best last minute costume thrown together in about 15 minutes. PSP wins for scariest, while Zuzu and Lamp tie for cutest/sweetest/never grow up.
I was pretty proud of my ruby slipper make-over. I found some ballet slippers at the thrift store, painted them red, the mod-podged some glitter, made the bows out of leather, more mod-podge and more glitter, then a final coat of mod-podge to seal it all in.
I knew Zuzu wouldn’t be anything that wasn’t 100% her idea, so when she said she wanted to be a green bird for Halloween I knew I had to make it happen. Some pretty easy felt wings and a baby bonnet pattern turned bird head.
Love this amazing crazy crew of mine.
I’ll be taking the rest of the week off.
