Kidcation Week

Hey locals, it’s Kidcation week in San Antonio!  If you haven’t heard of this it’s a city wide effort to provide all sorts of kid fun before school starts back up again.  It kicks off with a party this morning at Hemisfair Park (a fun playground and park if you’ve never been) which is free and boasts, a band, food, games and even visits from some local celebrities like the San Antonio Spurs Coyote and Shamu.  There are a lot of activities this week be sure to check them out here.

Other fun events include movie nights at Hemisphere park Mon-Thurs this week, discounts at Kiddie Park, the Witte and Morgan’s Wonderland all featuring special Kidcation events.  I like it when cities do fun event like this as it really makes you want to get out and explore the place you live.  I don’t know how many locals read, but if you see us at an event come say hi!
