Our hotel was just steps from the beach and beyond perfect weather.
So very, very thankful to be back home safe and sound. We enjoyed a wonderful beachy Thanksgiving in South Padre Island, TX and had a great time. We met some former NYC friends there and made some great memories. So glad they could come! Unfortunately we also experienced quite a horrendous ordeal. I may blog about it someday, but not now. I know it’s the worst/most annoying thing when someone drops a vague yet intriguing line like that… but for now that’s how it will remain. We are all OK and that’s whats important right? Anyway, more pics to come…hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving holiday. In the meantime, let’s hear it for pinecones, hot chocolate, mistletoe, gingerbread and all things Christmas. Oh Christmas, we’re gonna crush it this year! (If anyone gets that reference I automatically love you, no questions asked.)

I am truly sorry for whatever happened. I do hope you are okay – sometimes I think we mothers continue on as 98% "okay" (or whatever) for quite awhile…if not forever. :> I hope that being home, together, is a comfort for all of you. Take your time to enjoy the season – your readers will wait for you. :>
