Last Wednesday was our annual appointment in Dallas at the amazing Texas Scottish Rite. That morning while in the hotel room getting ready Lamp decided to bust out a new move. One minute she was laying down on the floor and the next minute she was sitting up. Hey, how did you get up? I asked. I’ll show you she said.
If your child can get themselves up from a laying down position this may not seem like something to cheer about, but when it’s taken over 2 years to get there…you best believe we be cheering up in here.
PS Don’t you love the little happy dance she does at the end? Me too.
There's nothing I like more than watching a video of Lamp. Seriously, I think she is the cutest thing ever. And I can't get enough of seeing her resourcefulness and ingenuity in finding a way to do what she's gotta do. I just love her!
Ah Britty…Thank you. Wish we could do this mom job like our old job…hanging out all day just a cubicle away.
Yay Lamp!!!! I love you little girl!
Her talking is always what makes me smile.
I love how PSP cheers too. What a great family!
Best big sister ever.
ps. We should hang out one of these days soon.
Go Lamp! Too cool.
So awesome! She must have some serious abs, that little Lamp of yours :-))

Wow! Congratulations!! 🙂
that was beautiful!!! I needed a smile today, thank you for sharing
I second everything everyone has said! She is just a doll!!!!
Thanks everyone! I always love you loving on my kids. 🙂
She is just amazing. I love reading your blog. It makes me smile. I'm the one that commented a while back on your post about hands, and how I didn't know Adam would be born without arms. Well he's seven months old and just amazing. And it takes longer for him to do things, but man when he accomplishes something new we all cheer just like the girls. Thank you so much for sharing so much of your life with us. It really helps people like me not feel alone. Erin
She is soooo cute! And just like my little girl – same little talking and personality. I love her because even though she appears differently than most of us, she's just like us! Such an important lesson that I hope to teach my kids! Love her – thanks for sharing!
She is amazing!
Yay for Lampy!!!!!! SOoooooooo very adorable.
That is awesome! Way to brighten a day. Thanks for sharing.
I just came across your blog this weekend and have fallen in love with your precious family. Lamp is amazing as is her older sister! They are so lucky to have such a cool, creative, strong, intelligent mother as well. You are certainly an inspiration:-)
That was AWESOME! And I am diggin' the happy dance! I love so, so, much how she told you simply, "I'll show you."
I'm so excited that my computer is playing videos again. I was freaking out when I thought I was missing out.
She is so happy! Love this little girl..she truly is a blessing
