Lately

Morning walk to school.  Not shown, my heart bursting with joy.   

 Somehow, she got these on all by herself.  I didn’t see it happen, and so I have no idea how this little magician pulled it off, but she did.    

Family bike rides along the Riverwalk…

…with helmets almost as big as we are.  

 Already had a school program.  

This is the pretend flute solo.  Nice touch.  

Still hot enough for the splash pad.

So that’s it… we’re adjusting to life with a kid in school full time.  This means morning chores, making our beds, walking to school and a plethora of hugs and kisses good bye.  I’ve also managed to get up and work out in the wee hours a surprisingly high percentage of the time.  Go me.  In addition I’ve been enjoying more one on one time with Lamp, and the sacred nap-time break I’ve missed so much.  I still say a fair amount of prayers during the day for my big girl…but all in all, we’re doing well.  PSP seems to like school and school certainly seems to like her.  No surprise there.  

So that’s lately.
