Random Stuff

These days I can’t go anywhere without the 3 B’s, as pictured above.  Baby, blanky and bear–which is what we call her pacifier with the giant panda attached to it.  When I feed her in the morning or before nap it’s baby! baby!  baby! which means I now have to juggle 2 babies during feeding time.  The slight inconvenience is easily eclipsed by the sweetness of it all…Princess Sparkle wasn’t attached to anything as a baby.  No lovie, no blankie, no dolly.  So it’s cute to see Lamp have her little attachments and how much they mean to her.
I got the most lovely email the other day.  A woman named Becki emailed to let me know I had been nominated on her blog for a gratitude giveaway she was hosting.  The person who nominated me, Heidi, has never met me but through my blog, particularly in regards to Lamp and my special needs spotlight, she has been helped due to her own daughters special needs.  Becki wanted to send me the email Heidi had written about me because she thought it was so kind and wonderful.  Then she told me she had chosen me as the winner–a $100 gift certificate to her shop!  Amazing right?  Serious hair brushing moment…I felt so humbled, appreciated, loved and encouraged all at the same time.  Anyway, if you have a chance you should head on over to Whippy Cake to check out her shop!  So many beautiful headpieces and accessories I don’t even know where to start.  Let me know your favorites!  Thanks again Becki and Heidi!
I have so many things on my to-do list these days but NO motivation.  It’s been pretty hustle-bustle around here so come evening time I just want to sit on the couch with a bowl of ice cream and relax.  I don’t even have any Christmas decorations up yet…partly because I wanted to paint the mantle first….it’s orange….oh bother.  I even have the beginnings of some more toddler messenger bags in the works that I was hoping to get done before Christmas…but I’m losing steam.  Any ideer’s to get my motivation back?  And by all means, if you’d like a toddler messenger bag before Christmas let me know so I can get. it. together.
Alright kids, I’ll see you here tomorrow for another amazing Special Needs Spotlight.
