My mom has a knack for picking out holiday decorations that I love, like these vintage trees above. Bright teal scarves with rabbit fur balls around the edge? Not so much. But holiday decorations… she nails it. (We can laugh about that now right mom?)
Welp, we’re headed out of town for a not quite Thanksgiving, not quite Christmas visit to see family and friends…and I think I’m going to love this in between vacation! I’ll try to post here and there but otherwise I’ll see you next week! (Sadly this also means the spotlight won’t be running this week either–but I’ve got a great one lined up the next week, so stay tuned!)

(Perish the thought of me ever picking out clothes for you again. Just a few weeks ago I spied a lovely skirt in a style you like and wear. It was in a window, and was a very subtle silvery/whitish. I thought wouldn't Migs look fabulous in that?… You know fun for the holidays and all… I could picture you in it with the swell accessories only you could add. And then I caught myself, and snapped out of that dream back to reality just in time. Whew! Another disaster avoided!)
