B and I had fallen asleep during Lamps nap on Sunday. When I woke and found it a little too quiet I had to investigate. I peeked in on this one and realized we achieved the rare family nap! It’s not often that we find the 4 year old napping these days–which is good, naps make for terrible bedtimes!–but to see her dressed up from head to toe in Snow White and passed out on like a little princess, I had to snap a photo.
Yesterday we were in a rush to get out the door, but Lamp was really needing a bath. But I know I didn’t have time to fill up the tub, and scrub her down, etc. Then it hit me that while not many 16 month olds can bathe in a small sink, this one sure can! Quick sink bath = cute photo op.
…The joy of motherhood comes in moments. There will be hard times and frustrating times. But amid the challenges, there are shining moments of joy and satisfaction.
