New Words and a Sentence

I can’t get over these pictures…sweet little angel face.

So I know I briefly mentioned her newfound verbalization the other day, but really Lamp has been talking up a storm.  New words every day!  It’s crazy.  If Princess Sparkle says a word, she imitates it.  If we ask her to say a word, she gives it a go.  But beyond just imitating she actually seems to know how to use these words properly and has even started saying sentences.  At 15 months old I’m quite impressed.  Here’s a rundown of words I can remember.

hi
bye
night, night
mom, mommy, mama
dada, daddy
sister, and sister’s name (not an easy name to say)
ball
outside
cheese
hungry
bite
cereal
down
slide
peas
no
too
I want
diaper
chair
baby
really
bear (her pacifier)
puppy
doggy
this
One, Two, Three!

And those are just the words I can remember.  Anywho, Saturday night I was making the girls some dinner and PSP says, I want some cheese and Lamp says,
I want cheese too.
What?  Her first sentence!  And she knows how to properly use too?  Definitely going down in the books as her first official sentence.  Since then I’ve been noticing a lot more I want sentences.  I want chair, I want down, etc.  It’s been fun seeing her grow in this way and it also helps me see her as the almost -toddler-minus-the-toddling-part that she is.  Since she’s still so small–about the size of your average 9-10 month old–and not walking, sometimes it’s easy to forget that she’s actually a lot more mature than that.  She’s growing up on me and for the most part, I’m OK with that.
