I’ve been wanting to do an updated version of our Warhol style pictures for a while now…and I finally finished last night. I know a lot of people are partial to silouettes, but I guess my version of that is a Warhol-esque portrait. B and I have the older versions of these portraits hanging in our bedroom, but I wanted to use pictures that are more recent and I’ve been wanting to do one for all 4 family members.
I’m not 100% satisfied with the colors and I think I may use a different picture of Lamp, but overall I like them. I do them on the computer using photoshop then print them off on glossy photo paper. They’re actually very easy to do, and I’ll try and get a tutorial up in the next few days. I went ahead and printed them off and put them in the new frames I bought. Just having the frames up gives me more motivation to fix them until I’m completely satisfied.
The hooks were originally put up for a different set of frames, so they’re not really lined up correctly, but when we’re only going to be here a few more months I’m not going to stress about it and put new holes in the wall. The pictures along with the new pillow covers I was finally able to make give our computer/TV room just the punch of color it needed.
really great. so, since i still struggle with double clicking, is this a service you would consider doing in your etsy shop?
Those look so great on the wall like that! So cute!
Chelsea and Heidi–Thanks guys.
And Heidi–great idea. Perhaps I will make this available in the shop. I'd still put a tutorial up, but for those of you who struggle with double clicking as you say, this would be great. 🙂
I'd love a tutorial on this. These are super!
Where are those cute pillow covers from….did you make those too?

Tracy—Yes I did make those. Glad you like them…I have extra fabric, maybe I'll make some of those for the shop too.
Kelly–Your family would look so cute Warhol-ized…I'll for sure do a tutorial.
Amberli–Copy away! Shoot, that's why I put it up…
