I’ve been experiencing the strangest phenomenon. Randomly through out the day, and frequently when I wake up to feed Lampy in the wee hours of the night, for some reason I keep finding myself humming/singing the song Bulletproof in my head. But here’s the thing…I have NO idea how I know this song. And today when I finally looked it up and downloaded it I had never even heard of La Roux…which is the band that sings Bulletproof. I don’t listen to the radio. I don’t remember seeing or hearing about them via the internet or TV. How in the world do I know this song? Was in on SYTYCD? (Which I’ve only watched a couple times by the way). A morning talk show? The hook of a commercial I can’t remember? What? Where?
Not that I mind exactly…it’s a catchy song and rather fun to dance to. And serious props to La Roux for making a song so stuck-in-my-head-catchy that apparently just one listen has me hooked.
But still….it’s a complete mystery.

Looked on wikipedia and it has been played on the TV shows "Cougar Town" & "Ugly Betty." Do you watch those?
This song gets stuck in my head too. But I know it wasn't on SYTYCD. At least I don't remember it on there. It's just that catchy.
I've been obsessed with that song since last summer. Love it. It gets played a lot here and there, so it's possible you've just crossed paths with it.

Well, really, the lyrics aren't that complicated. But then it only takes 1 friend to mention their late night head DJ, and then every time you wake up in the middle of the night, you hear it too. Thanks for that.
